| A country house in the mountains of Madrid beautifully restored into six holiday apartments with balcony or terrace. The accommodation is very comfortable with everything you need for self-catering. Located in the lively mountain town of Rascafria, just across from the Natural Swimming pools and gardens on the river, open all year round and free, we also have our own gardens and bar and restaurant next door. Five minutes walk to the centre of Rascafria, a lovely old town full of bars and restaurants, little terraces and all services. This is a good area for walking, nature, birdwatching in spectacular scenery, old towns and little villages to discover, local fiestas in summer. Only one hour from Madrid, the bus goes every hour so it is great for days out to the city. Less than one hour to Segovia, Riaza, Selpulveda and other famous monumental towns in old Castille. A good centre for discovering central Spain and relaxing in the countryside. |
