The apartment Las Palmeras is on the ground floor of the house , lovely views from the windows and balcony, and garden and patio with barbecue below. Centrally situated for a holiday in Northern Spain – Vitoria, Capital of the Basque Country, 45 mins, La Rioja – wine cellars including Marques de Riscal and many others – 1hr 15 mins, our own wine cellar Txacoli, 10 mins, Santander 1hr, San Sebastian 1hr 15 mins. Beaches are 30 to 40 mins away. The country house is situated in an unspoilt traditional village with views over the surrounding countryside and towards the impressive mountains to the south. This is an excellent area for walking, nature and birdwatching, cultural tourism with interesting buildings and architecture, medeavel palaces and country palaces. Wide range of places to eat in the valley, from lovely country bars with traditional food and tapas, to up to date gourmet restaurants. One restaurant within walking distance, and supermarkets and all services 10 mins by car. We have maps and tourist information, cycles available free of charge (please order them). We have a small swimming pool for playing in the garden, and a large village swimming pool, ten minutes walk open all summer and very quiet. Barbecue, deck chairs and sunloungers, some ponies and a small zoo where children can feed the animals.

The apartment Las Palmeras is on the ground floor of the house and is spacious and adapted for wheel chair users. Large double bedroom with extra single bed, and bathroom with walk in shower and rain shower attachment. Complete fitted kitchen with dining room, comfortable lounge, high quality furnishing and luxury fittings. Satelite TV, DVD. The house can sleep up to five people maximum, there is a full size single bed in the main bedroom, and 160cm sofa bed in the lounge. Free cot for babies.
