This private estate (9.000m2) is in a quiet area away from the hustle and bustle of popular tourist resorts but isn't isolated as it's one of a number of privately owned white houses dotted around the hillside. Surrounded by several of the white villages in Malaga's Axarquía (Canillas de Albaida, Cómpeta, Corumbela and Árchez), the house is in a picturesque setting and is only 12-14km from the beach. The front patio has decorative arches that adorn the outside of the house - to one side is the barbecue and to the other a lovely pine tree, offering a shady area. In front of this is the swimming pool area. The accommodation is organized on one floor and consists of a spacious lounge with comfortable sofas around an open fire, an eating area and an open plan kitchen with breakfast bar. There are three double bedrooms (one is ensuite) and a full bathroom.
Position
About two kms from the village of Árchez (all normal services available here) where you can visit its famous Alminar (an old mosque in mudéjar style) - listed for its historic value. On the route of the white villages you have Cómpeta; 12-14km from the beach at Algarrobo Costa, Torredelmar and Torrox Costa; 20km away is Frigiliana and Nerja; golf courses 20km; and about 50km from Málaga (and the airport). |
