This little cottage for couples is a luxurious retreat for a special occassion or just a relaxing break. Built on the site of an old granary, it is completely made of wood with large glass windows - completed fitted with automatic blinds, with views of spectacular countryside and towards the sea all around. Incredibly well decorated, 35m2 of open space indoors, houses king size bed, small but beautifully equipped kitchen and dining area with tables and chairs. Full bathroom with hydromassage shower. The elevated balcony runs all around the building and has outdoor tables and chairs for relaxing which can be positioned as the customers prefer. On a site of over 2000m with outdoor picnic tables, hammocks in the shade, Spa and Turkish baths (shared with two other cottages). Towels, bathrobes and welcome gifts including Cava and toiletries provided. Only five minutes downhill to two of the most lovely sandy beaches in the Basque Country. Excellent restaurants in the area. English spoken.

The grounds are shared with two other cottages, but are very large. There are outdoor eating areas. The Granary has it's own private outdoor dining room in the shade underneath the building over looking the views down the valley. Spa and Turkish baths open anytime. Excellent trips out and the owner can recommend restaurants, she knows the area very well. Outdoor activities in the area can be organized easily - watersports and surfing close by. Lovely area for gentle walking on the cliffs above the sea and along the Urdaibai estuary. Small village with bars and restaurants 5 mins, beach with restaurants and sports ten minutes, Guernica is the largest market town with all facilities 15mins.
