Apartaments Conchi is a pretty group of rural holiday cottages surrounded by large gardens with a swimming pool and fruit trees in the centre of the beautiful Picos de Europa National Park. All the holiday houses are built in traditional style with a terrace looking out towards the panorama of the high Picos. They are converted from the original farm and barns. Each has its own entrance and patio. The two bedroom accommodation has a twin and a double, one bathroom, full kitchen - dining with large table and lounge. Good quality furniture, decorated in simple but attrative rustic style, good views from windows and patio. Swimming pool open from May to September. Vineyard and wine cellar on estate. Nice bar and restaurant on the river 5 mins walk, with outdoor terrace in summer. Many more places to visit and eat out in little villages along the valley. 45 mins beaches. Visit the central town of Potes only 3km away, famous for its excellent gastronomy. Many outdoor activities on offer: canoeing, walking, climbing, horse riding, trips out through the Picos de Europa, close to Fuente De cable car, etc. Preferred changeover day high season is saturday, but other dates accepted if staying more than 7.

5 apartments/cottages with two bedrooms and 2 large end cottages with 1 or 2 bathrooms with 3 bedrooms.
There is a children's playground and lots of safe open space. With barbecues for guest's use and picnic tables outdoors. Each cottage has a private entrance and all of them have good views.
The swimming pool is open from the 1 of May.
How to get here: From Santander - take the road from Unquera on the coast towards Potes. Before you arrive in Potes in the village called Ojedo, there is a roundabout. Take the road towards Palencia. Three kilometres along this road there is a sign for Cabariezo, the apartments are next to the sign and you should be able to see them. Take this turning and drive into the apartments El Barrio.
For easy access to the Picos de Europa within two hours driving time: Low cost flights are available to Santander by Ryanair from Liverpool and Stanstead. To Bilbao or Asturias by Easyjet. Connections to Liverpool or Stanstead from most UK and Irish airports via either Easyjet or Ryanair. |
