| These apartments and luxury penthouses sleep 4 people and are close to Estepona, in the Cancelada area which is a residential area and has all the amenities of a coastal town. 2km from the beach (21km of fine sandy beaches) and the clear blue sea, with Sierra Bermeja to the north (which provides protection from the winds in winter), and surrounded by green golf courses, these apartments are an ideal haven for relaxing holidays in the countryside. The apartments are built round a grassy area with tropical plants and palm trees and a wonderful swimming pool. Inside they're spacious and comfortable, well-furnished with all the mod cons. They have two bedrooms and a large sunbathing terrace, looking over the lawns and swimming pool. Cancelada is equidistant between Estepona and San Pedro de Alcántara (14km) and has good road access. The best golf courses in the local area are: Los Flamingos (1.5km), Montemayor (6km), Guadalmina (8km) and Atalaya (4-5km). For nature lovers Sierra Bermeja is a jewel and links up with the serranía de Ronda. There's a wide variety of trees, and the area is great for birdwatchers (some 220 species in total attracted by the warmer climate). The marina at Estepona is well worth a visit as is the archeological areas of Guadalmansa and Selwo, which is the biggest animal park in Europe with lots of wild animals and plenty of activities for the kids. Marbella and Málaga (with its recent Picasso Museum) are 20km away, Ronda under an hour, Jerez de la Frontera 2 hours and Sevilla about 2 and a half. Great food, cultural routes, horse riding and events and flamenco complete the various activities on offer. |
