Two charming holiday houses in an old Galician school, swimming pool, close to pretty village and beaches. Beautifully restored by the owners in 2004, tasteful rustic decoration with modern comforts and completely equipped with everything you may need. In beautiful natural surroundings with green hills and Galician forests, an ideal place for a relaxing holiday and very close to the lovely coast and beaches of the Rias Baixas. The area is dotted with lovely old villages to discover, clean rivers and natural waterfalls, easy walking routes and the region is famed for its excellent gastronomy and interesting local fiestas.
The house is divided into two independent units, which sleep 4 and 6 people. You can also rent both the houses together, and with extra beds sleep up to 15 people. The houses are in large grounds with abundant greenery and established trees and a private car park. There are wooden garden tables in the shade of the trees for outdoor eating, sunshades and garden furniture and even a little playhouse for the children. The cottages are only a few minutes stroll to the centre of the village (400metres), where there are nice restaurants at all prices, some very good quality and value for money, bars, supermarkets, local shops etc.
The area is beautiful for walking and hiking, we have routes planned from the house. Several wonderful beaches on the Rias Bajas are within a 20 minute drive. This is south Galicia with a mild climate all year round.
