| This house has been featured on television for its character and charm as a true rural holiday house. It is located on the town square where one can appreciate the comings and goings of the locals and get a good taste of life in a Spanish village, including “market day”, the old folks “gossip circle” and the traditional “time for a drink” hour. Don’t forget your camera while you take a stroll through the village visiting the church, the convent and you can brush up on your Spanish as there is always time for a chat with the friendly villagers. If you feel like a more peaceful walk, the surrounding countryside is close by where you can even pick wild asparagus when in season. Getting to know the province of Extremadura is a breeze as many of the main attractions such as the towns of Caceres, Trujillo, Merida and Guadalupe or the National Park of Monfrague and the “lake district” are all within a thirty minute drive on modern highways.

A reformed house of the family seat from the sixteenth century, it is considered a high category holiday accomadation due to it’s architecture and priviledged setting, ideal for holidays in a unique environment. This is a two story house with five double bedrooms, each with it’s own bathroom. There is also a lounge, dining room, kitchen, central heat and a large patio in the back.
