| This pretty holiday cottage is on a private rural estate of 25 hectares only 14km from the heart of the beautiful Human Heritage City of Cordoba, It is the most private and independent of three holiday villas on the finca all sharing the swimming pool and amenities. The owners live in a house on another part of the estate. The cottage has one double bedroom and room for two children in extra beds in the lounge. The house is surrounded by lush vegetation which makes it peaceful and isolates it from everything particularly in the spring and summer. The front porch is surrounded by plants and flowers and is covered by an enormous mulberry tree, almost 100 years old, which provides delightful shade in the hottest days of the year, and where we can enjoy reading or simply being at one with nature. The blue pool freshens up the surroundings on bright sunny days. Indoors a simple and rustic decoration creates a refreshing atmosphere and the owner who is an artist has used original works to give character and colour to the atmosphere. A very lovely place to spend a relaxing holiday at any time of the year. Claudio Marcelo the founder of Cordoba would have chosen a place like this to rest between his conquests and imperial wars. in the same way as would our Andalucian ancestors – the Jews, the Moors or the Christians – at the time when Cordoba was one of the most important cities of the world, each would have come here with his own God to this place where nature would have comforted each one of them. Driving towards our villa exuberant nature takes over as our holiday companion and in Spring the green wheat or corn covers the surrounding farmland. A simple portico welcomes us to the estate (25 hectares) which carries out ecological agriculture. The vegetation is particularly lush and there are many examples of hundred year old trees; palms, almonds, cypresses, walnuts, mulberry, poplars, orange and lemon trees... |

Prices for one week, 2 people plus 2 children in additional bed are as follow:
- From 1/10/08 to 19/12/08 and from 7/01/09 to 16/03/09 : 880€.
- From 20/12/08 to 6/01/09 and from 17/03/09 to 30/09/09 : 1.040€.
Weekend price for 2 people: from 96€ to 148€ per night.
Price per person and per night sleeping in sofa bed: 15€.
Easter, Christmas and Bank holidays are considered high season.
July and August it is rented for complete weeks. Entering and leaving day: Saturday.
Minimum stay at weekends: 2 nights.
