| El Batan de Lara is a charming holiday house which was originally a working watermill. Situated on the banks of the River Majaceite in the heart of the beautiful Regional Park of Grazalema in Cadiz, in it's own grounds of 15.000 m2 with impressive views of the surrounding countryside. The accommodation is self catering and the house has been beautifully restored throughout, with wooden beams in all rooms, moorish roof tiles and several covered terraces for outdoor dining. The house is beautifully equipped and has lovely rustic, country style furniture throughout. The cottage is on the outskirts of the village of Benamahoma which is within walking distance. The main town of Grazalema in the Regional Park is 11km, Arcos (Golf courses) is 25km or 20 mins drive, the beautiful town of Ronda in the mountains is just 45km, and Jerez de la Frontera is 65km. The lovely beaches of Cadiz are about a 40 min drive. There are direct flights from the UK to Jerez airport which is close by. |
