La Vera is an excellent area for enjoying wildlife, birdwatching, outdoor sports of all kinds; canoeing, horse riding, climbing, walking, quads etc. The area is full of typical villages to discover, 5 of them declared as historical monuments, castles and monasteries and incredible unspoilt landscapes of mountains and rivers only two hours from Madrid.
The apartments conveniently situated for enjoying village life are in the old quarter in the centre of Valverde. They are beautifully decorated, spacious and respect all the old building traditions while being fully equipped with modern conveniences and very comfortable.
Close to Monfragüe National Park and the Gredos Mountain range excellent areas for walkers and birding.
