Set in private grounds with wonderful views across the Alpujarras mountains. You can walk (approx half an hour) to Pitres, the nearby village where there are supermarkets, bars and restaurants. There are some great walks from the house, including one commonly believed to be the 'best path in the Alpujarras'. The walks are well signposted and take you through the delightful villages of La Taha. About 40 minutes by car is the highest village in mainalnd Spain - Trevelez from where you can climb Mulhacen (the highest peak in mainland Spain). |
