| This truly romantic property is set in a fine location on a gentle hill near the picturesque lake of Bornos. The interior, which has large windows enabling you to enjoy the views over the lake and the surrounding countryside, has a charming and attractive ambience, with wooden beams throughout the house, together with a mixture of terracotta and ceramic floorings. The kitchen is rustic in style but has all modern appliances. The open-plan living/dining room features an open fireplace, paintings and a framed tapestry; also on the ground floor is a charming bathroom with marble surfaces and elegant fittings, and a cosy twin bedroom. From the living room, steps lead up to the master bedroom on a mezzanine, with its beautiful antique wardrobe, four poster bed and panoramic views. This bedroom also has access to its own terrace where you can relax in the sun in absolute privacy. The garden has various sitting out areas and is a delightful place to relax and absorb the scenery.
Bornos has a fine Roman heritage with numerous monuments and gardens. The lake of Bornos and the nearby Sierra de Grazalema, are a paradise for walkers, cyclists, bird-watchers, horse riders and for those who enjoy water sports. |
