| This modern villa, set in an attractive rural area, nestles on a hill side and enjoys the most splendid views of the Guadalquivir valley and the picturesque castle of Almodóvar. On a clear day, the views stretch as far as 70 km, and it feels like a haven of peace and relaxation and yet is a mere 30 minutes’ drive from the lively historic city of Córdoba.
The villa has been tastefully furnished and decorated throughout and it offers guests a high level of comfort and homeliness. There are ceiling fans in all the rooms to refresh the ambiance during the warmer months and a wood-burning stove for the cooler winter months. The good sized bedrooms feel attractive and welcoming, whilst the spacious open-plan living/dining room, bathed in that glorious Andalucian light, offers very comfortable seating in a pleasant and cheerful décor. The pretty kitchen, rustic but well appointed, is a joy to cook in and has a door to the terrace and gardens.
Apart from the shaded terrace, from where you can watch the spectacular sunset over the valley, there is a pleasant dining out area by the brick laid barbecue and two benches by the swimming pool; this is available all year round, moreover, the villa has air conditioning and central heating, which make it an ideal location for a holiday at any time of year.
