| La Casa del Alba is an ancient rustic stone house conserved in perfect condition. It's a large, pretty house on two floors with a delightful patio/garden area. It's located in a village near a lake (lago de Sanabria), in the north-west of Spain, is surrounded by mountains and borders Portugal. There are lots of outdoor activities on offer such as horse riding, walking, bike riding, fishing, windsurfing and canoeing. |

Attached to the main holiday accommodation is an attic lounge. All the rooms, including bathrooms are ventilated and have windows. We prefer the house to be non smoking. We also give courses in dried flowers, liqueuers, natural soaps and relaxation techniques in the house. There's a river nearby in the village where you can swim (rio negro), and there is also swimming available in local reservoirs 7kms away or in the lake (lago de sanabria). Animals are welcome but have to remain outside in the garden. There's a doctors and police station 5km away. Taxis can be ordered from the house. |
