La Pallissa de Joanet is a lovely old stone house situated in the small village of Joanet. Joanet has stunning views overlooking the Montseny Natural Park and is surrounded by pines, oaks and cork trees. This house can accommodate eight adults and five children. Just a 25 mins drive from Girona Airport. On the ground floor, past the entrance you’ll find a huge living room with a fireplace and an open fully equipped kitchen. On this floor there is also a double bedroom and one bathroom. Upstairs, on the first floor, there are three double bedrooms, two bathrooms and one fun bedroom that can comfortably fit five children. The house is very comfortable and all the furniture is hand made or restored by the owners. Please note that this house has no private garden or swimming pool. However, you have free access to the village patio witch is just beside the house. The GR83 hiking route passes directly in front of the house. Joanet is a really small village, with no shops, just a lovely bar restaurant. The nearest towns for shopping are Arbucies and Sant Hilari Sacalm. Joanet is a peaceful place and has many interesting places to visit within easy reach (Barcelona, Girona, Costa Brava beaches, Pyrenees area....). We’ll provide you with any information and advice. All in all a haven from the hustle and bustle of main tourist areas.
