The Rural Holiday Houses Mirador del Condado are on an exceptional position with fantastic views over the County of Condado and to the distant Sierra Morena close to one of Spain’s largest regional parks, famous for it’s outstanding natural beauty and varied fauna and flora. There are four houses in the group each with it’s own garden and terrace, and a communal swimming pool. Situated in a very peaceful area, but only a short stroll to the village (100m). The area is full of things to do, walking and many activities in the Cazorla and Segura Regional Park, visit Andalucian villages and cities, Jaen, Granada, Cordoba, Ubeda, Cazorla, etc.) with all their history and culture in the surrounding area.

Delightfully restored holiday house in an olive-growing hamlet.
Situated on quiet country road between Castillo de Locubin and Fuensanta de Martos, an easy base to explore really rural Spain.
The cities of Cordoba, Grananda and Jaen are within 1.5 hours drive, a car is a necessity here.
The nearest airport is Granada about 70 minutes away or Malaga 2.5hours away.
For peace and quiet with doorstep walks this is a lovely get away.

Fantastic villa with swimming pool and complete privacy for 4 people, set on a privately owned estate, sharing the grounds with the house next door (connecting door - see reference 21674). They can be rented together or separately, and families holidaying together or large groups of friends (up to 10 people) may welcome the flexible privacy or sociability this arrangements offers. The houses are completely self contained and each has its own character. Each house has its own swimming pool and private outdoor spaces. The houses are set against a wonderful backdrop of the Sierra de Jaen and have stunning views over the beautiful mountain range and rural countryside. Outside there an area for eating al fresco or where you can have a relaxing drink under the shade of the centurion holm oak; there is plenty of open space at the front of the house and an area with trees next to the pool. From here you overlook a beautiful landscape which opens onto a valley and the mountains in the Sierra de la Pandera. The accommodation is on one floor. The lounge/dining room with open fire leads out onto a large terrace with excellent views. The kitchen is practical and open. The two bedrooms are fully fitted and tastefully furnished. It's a wonderfully relaxing spot and after a busy day visiting the ancient buildings and sights of nearby Cordoba, Granada, Jaen, Ubeda and Baeza, it's the perfect way to relax and enjoy the peace of the countryside. It's also a starting point for a number of good walks.

A beautifully reformed rustic country house respecting all the structure of the working cottage it originally was, in an unspoilt village still steeped with it’s Arabic – Andalusi influence, coming to greet us as we approach from afar. On arrival at the villa we find ourselves on the Sierra taking in views of a splendid landscape cloaked in olive trees, cherry trees and walnut trees. The house has a lovely swimming pool with charming sunshades provided by a vine arbour, and extending from the front of the house an excellent terrace which serves as our patio, and which becomes covered in summer with the traditional shady vines. Once inside the house we find two large living rooms; the smaller one inside the house itself; and another one – grander and very comfortable in an annex, with an open fireplace and a barbecue and which is ideal for get-togethers with our family and friends. Going back to the house itself, we find ourselves in the large well equipped kitchen, which maintains the original hearth of the house and can be a great place to spend a cosy time around the fire together. On this floor there are also two double bedrooms and a bathroom. On the upper floor there are four double bedrooms, all delightfully decorated, full of colour, light and cosy at the same time, with their sloping ceilings and white painted beams, which picks out the character of the house’s construction and are faithful to it’s original design. There is another bathroom on this floor.
The rural house is close to the village of Alcaudete where there are shops, restaurants, bank etc. There are many interesting things to see in the area and for visitors who are interested the father of the owner of the property can take people round the traditional olive oil mills and the old bakery in the village. There are many signposted walking and easy mountain biking routes in the Sierra de Ahillo, where the house is located. Hang gliding has long been a popular sport in this area, given the height of the sierra and there is an active club close by, with qualified monitors for those wanting to learn or those more experienced. Fishing is available in the nearby reservoir on the River Víboras (1.5km). For full days out to Andalucia's monumental cities Jaen 50km, Granada 70km, and Córdoba 80km are all less than an hour away.

Rural house on a beautiful country estate of over 9000m2 rich in flora and fauna, with gardens and swimming pool. There are six rural houses and apartments in a group on the holiday complex, this one is on the top floor of the main building. The houses share the large swimming pool and grounds. Situated in the rich natural landscapes of the Protected Nature Reserve (the largest Oleander forest in Europe) and close to the source of the River Cuadros this is Spain's unspoilt natural heritage.
The house is reached by a few short steps - because of the sloping terrain it is almost at ground floor level - where we find a spacious terrace, a great place for sitting out and enjoying a meal or a drink while we contemplate the splendid views of the surrounding landscapes or the complex area below us. Indoors we find a pleasant, well lit and airy space with a large lounge with open fireplace, opening onto a well equipped kitchen. The bedrooms are bright and cheerful and decorated with good taste. All the house is air conditioned and centrally heated.
Close to the village of Bedmar (4km) which still has part of the Andalusi fort built by Uabys Ben Al Saliya in the 9th century. The Church of the Asuntion has an extraordinary Baroque entrance and is well conserved (16th century), and in Garcez (pedania de Bedmar) we find El Palacio, the only example of Renaissance architecture of this type in the region. There is a wide variety of things to do on offer too: walking in the area, cycling, a tour of the region’s villages, (Albanchez, Jimena...) trying out the local cuisine. Ubeda and Baeza, Human Heritage cities are only half an hour away, and the capital of the province Jaen is 40 mins, Granada one hour and Cordoba 90 minutes.
