It's positioned in the middle of the Ribeira Sacra area - an area famous for its excellent wines, food and crafts. It's one and a half hours by car from the beach. Ideally located for outdoor activities, such as walking, golf, archery, food festivals, crafts and a lively artistic and cultural heritage. The Ribeira Sacra is a little known area of Galicia scattered with old historic monuments ranging from the Celtic through to the middle ages. It's a mountainous area full of vineyards on the banks of the Miño and the Sil.

The house is in beautiful countryside in a UNESCO biosphere reserve in the south of Lugo province, one hour from Santiago de Compostela and on the Saint James Pilgrims way.
