Extremadura > Badajoz > La Serena > CASA RURAL SABINO ALCÁNTARA - cottage in quiet village
The CASA RURAL ‘Sabino Alcántara’ is situated in a peaceful hamlet of 150 inhabitants. The slow pace allows you to re-discover and take pleasure from the simple things in life such as the smells of the countryside, the sound of silence on walks over the mountains and wise exchanges between village elders. There is beauty in all of the seasons: golden brown leaves of autumn, the purity of winter cold, the sudden unexpected warmth of spring and hot summer nights. Puerto Hurraco is a working agricultural village, centred around olives, cereal crops, pig and sheep farming.
Extremadura > Badajoz > Feria > Bed and breakfast in traditional village house in Extremadura > B&B (Bed and breakfast)
Bed and breakfast accommodation in a traditional village house in Extremadura, built on the 'up' side of the hill and cut into the rock. It has the high bobeda ceilings for warmth in winter, cool in summer. A perfect location for many outdoor pursuits i.e. walking, birdwatching, fishing and visiting places of historical interest.
Extremadura > Badajoz > Campiña Sur - Southern steppes > Hospederia Mirador de Llerena > Hotel with character
Walking into the Hospederia de Llerena is like taking a walk back in time to the beginning of the 20th century in Extremadura, the period during which this emblematic palace was built and became an important element in the architectonic nucleus of Llerena. The palace is built on two floors with an interior arched courtyard, a touch of Art Deco which adds to the charm and evokes a pleasing atmosphere of times gone by. Besides the admirable beauty of its setting, which we can appreciate from the viewing tower, the Hospederia has a multitude of public areas and welcoming rooms all of which have been designed retaining the original, recently restored elements of the building. The elegance of the imposing nineteenth century architecture sits in perfect harmony with the new installations, where daylight plays delightfully through the leaded, stained-glass windows, key elements which make this historic house an ideal place for you and yours to relax and enjoy yourselves in complete comfort. The Hospederia Mirador de Llerena has 25 beautifully decorated and furnished rooms all designed to guarantee our customers an authentic and unique experience during their stay here. The standard double rooms are all decorated with the pure lines of modern style and functional comfort to be expected of a modern day hotel, while the superior doubles, junior suites and the main suite are located in the old part of the building and are decorated in a more traditional style, in keeping with the original architecture of the building, which occupied the site where the Hosteria stands today. All the bedrooms are completely equipped with full ensuite bathroom and hairdryer. They have air-conditioning and central heating, telephone, plasma TVs, complementary mini-bar - fridge, personal safe and free Internet access. We also have rooms adapted for wheelchair users and people with mobility difficulties. Summer visitors can enjoy the garden and outdoor swimming pool and children are catered for with their own pool and special menu. Our gastronomic restaurant and cafe bar complete the offer and we can also cater for any kind of business meeting, conferences or celebrations.
