It is located in the village of Villar de Huergo, in the area of La Vega, being part of a group of constructions called "quintana" in Asturias. To one side there is space for parking.
La Vega consists of two floors. The ground floor is made of visible stone and wooden beams. The sitting room with its fireplace is on this ground floor, as well as the kitchen, with a rustic bar, washing machine, microwave, fridge and TV. On the first floor, reached by a spiral staircase, there is an attic double room with large double bed, and its fully-equipped bathroom.

We have recently refurbished this old school house where the downstairs used to be the classrooms and upstairs was the teachers living quarters. Caserias de Soribias are a group of holiday houses and country cottages in the beautiful National Park area of the Picos de Europa in Northern Spain. All the houses are in small villages or lovely countryside close to the lively central market towns of Arriondas and Cangas de Onis, with their traditional buildings, bars, shops and restaurants and tourist attractions. The hidden coves and wide sandy beaches of Asturias’ Costa Verde are only half an hour away as are such pretty towns and fishing ports like Ribadesella and Llanes. Many outdoor activities are on offer such as walking, horse riding, climbing, canoeing etc. Excellent range of restaurants in the area and a great place to just come and relax and explore.
La Collada is an old rural house, more than 100 years old, made of stone and wood and fully-renovated in its own rustic style. The building is located on a 250 hectare (617,75 acres) country estate (where you can hire horses) with a large green area for the sole use of the customers, near a forest with indigenous trees and the River Piloña (free fishing). There is also an "horreo" (Asturian grain store) and a "lavadero" (traditional open air sink). Wonderful views of the Picos de Europa. There is also a leisure area, with barbecue, benches and wooden tables, for the sole use of the customers.
La Collada farmhouse has two floors. The sitting-dining room, kitchen and a small toilet are on the ground floor. There is a sofa-bed for two people in the sitting-room. On the first floor there are two double bedrooms, both of them with fully-equipped bathroom and balcony. There is an entrance porch and an "escaño" (traditional Asturian bench with folding table)..
