This rural inn was completely remodeled in 2005 and is located in the center of a small village rich in Arabic archtecture.
Recliners are available on our magnifent terrace for sunbathing while offering excellent views of the countryside and ancient church. There is also a heated swimming pool, solarium, turkish baths with aromatized water jets and a patio with hammocks. Cordoba and the wine cellars of Montilla are a short ten minutes away. Fantastic sight seeing!

The Hostal is in the centre of one of the prettiest towns in Andalucia: Priego de Córdoba, with its old quarter and modern streets and shops. The hostal has 19 double rooms, of which four have their own patio. The rooms have top quality central heating and airconditioning, ensuite bathrooms, TV (local and cable) and telephone. There are three wonderful Andaluz patios which are ideal for relaxed chats in the cooler late afternoon. There is also one room suitable for guests with disabilities.

This delightful Andaluz house with swimming pool offers bed and breakfast from it’s beautiful vantage point on the Sierra de Cordoba, overlooking spectacular countryside and only 15 minutes away from the monumental city of Cordoba. The rural house is on a private estate of it’s own and it has lovely views of the white houses that dot the surrounding farmland and the picturesque castle of Almodovar, which is well worth a visit.
The owners of this small guest house live on the ground floor, where they prepare our breakfast, and where they will also prepare lunch or supper, if we order it before we go out. Guests aren’t limited to their rooms in our house, they have the whole of the estate at their disposal, especially upstairs where there is a double room, with lounge and shower room. Downstairs there is a double room and full bathroom. Outdoors we can really appreciate our fine surroundings, dipping into the swimming pool and enjoying the great views at the same time, or having a relaxing outdoor meal in the picnic area. Indoors, we find a lovely lounge, tastefully decorated with restored furniture and a cosy and comfortable atmosphere, just like in the rest of the house. The bedrooms are particularly original, with lots of little details and with some excellent paintings.
Close by there is a Spanish Bull fighting school (3.5km). Watersports (like waterskiing, wakeboarding, and all kinds of fishing) are available on the nearby Breña reservoir. The Hornachuelos Regional Park, (15km or 10 mins drive away) is ideal for those who like walking or riding, and for organised routes on horseback or horse-riding lessons we have stables just 8km from the house. Canoeing is also available on the Bembezar dam. And for the less sports inclined of course the house is ideally situated for visiting Andalucia’s classical inland cities, of Cordoba (the Mosque, Medina Azahara ruins) and Sevilla (1 hour). Excellent restaurant close by where you can try all our local gastronomy, meals to order at our guest house, and of course the whole range of Spanish cooking in the nearby city of Cordoba.

On the other side of the gentle hills of Sierrezuela heading towards Villaviciosa, some 3km from the village of Posadas, is the splendid holiday house set on a private estate (12.000m2) with its own private swimming pool. It sleeps a total of 16 people and can be rented in its entirety or when available individual rooms (doubles and singles) can be rented with breakfast included. If you're doing bed and breakfast, then the pool is shared with the other guests.
The house has an attractive patio-terrace with great views and the welcome shade provided by a walnut tree. The surrounding countryside is bursting with jasmin, roses and green meadowland. Next to the patio is a covered terrace - a great place for breakfast or other al fresco meals. The barbecue is next to the house and is perfect for preparing lunch or dinner, interspersed with the occasional dip in the pool. This area is surrounded by lawn and is a lovely place to finish the day after the heat of the midday sun when silence and tranquility are beginning to fall over the finca and its surrounding fields of maize, olive and orange groves and vineyards.
The accommodation is on one floor. The open fire is the main feature of the huge lounge together the vast amounts of light that flood in through the windows. The kitchen is separate and full equipped. The bedrooms are simple but comfortable and full of colour.
Please note for reservations for 10 or more people, you will have the house to yourselves.
Nearby is the Breña reservoir (8km), offering watersports. In the village of Almodóvar del Río (8km from Posadas) is a picturesque castle and many other outdoor activities, such as walking, cycling, horseriding, etc. You can also visit and enjoy the Regional Park of Hornachuelos (12km from Posadas), a very beautiful conservation area in the Sierra Morena. Near the village of Hornachuelos is the dam of the Bembezar reservoir where you can go canoeing and go on a boat trip up the tidal river.
