Q: I don't speak Spanish. How can I book with a Spanish property owner who only speaks Spanish?A: When booking a Spanish holiday property from a Spanish owner, first check under "Contact details" whether you share any common languages with the Spanish property owner. For example you may be able to email each other in French. If you don't, you can use the bilingual (English/Spanish) phrasebook available on the contact form. This is a series of pre-set phrases and questions which allow you to choose what you want to say in English and it will automatically be displayed in the email in both Spanish and English. The Spanish property owner will use the same facility to reply, so expect to get a Spanish/English email back. If you can't find what you want to say, please contact us and we will be happy to help out, by adding your request to the phrasebook in English and Spanish. Q: What kind of holiday properties are there on the site?A: The properties are a mixture of Spanish and British-owned holiday properties in all areas of Spain. There are apartments, villas, village houses, cottages, farmhouses (casas rurales) etc. Q: I've sent an email, but I haven't had a response. What should I do?A: If there's a phone number and there's no language barrier, phone the property owner to check the email has been received. If there is a language barrier, contact Colours of Spain and we will contact the property owner on your behalf. Q: I've searched the site, but I can't find a holiday property in the place I'm planning to visit.A: Just click on "Request a property" and describe your ideal Spanish holiday rental property by filling in the form. Colours of Spain has partnership agreements with many Spanish organisations that organise Spanish holiday property lets. If you can't find your ideal holiday property on the Colours of Spain site, we can ask our Spanish partners to contact you direct with details of any Spanish holiday properties they have that match your requirements. Q: What should I do if there is a problem when I am staying in the holiday property?A: You should try to resolve the problem immediately with the property owner. This is the person who is best placed to sort out the problem and make sure you enjoy your time in his or her property. If you are still not satisfied, you should contact Colours of Spain with details of the problem. We are committed to providing the means for the holidaymaker to have a unique and enjoyable holiday experience and therefore investigate all the complaints we receive. |
