| Kortazar Country House, 3 apartments, with gardens pool, in Aizarnazabal, a small village above the Basque coast, in Gipuzkoa province, located 8 kms from Zumaia (a pretty port with beaches) and Zarautz (a lively seaside town with large sandy beaches).
It’s a building with oak structure, completely reformed in 2008 with gardens and overlooking lovely countryside. It’s a two-storey house with a garage and lift, and the nearby farm has dwarf goats, sheeps, hens and ponies. Large gardens, outdoor terraces, swimming pool in summer for a dip, short drive to many beaches, San Sebastian 25 mins, Bilbao 1 hour.
The rural house has three apartments. Two of the apartments have two bedrooms with terraces and the third apartment has a room with a big large window and access for disabled. All three apartments have a kitchen, dining room, bathroom, television and central heating. Also, the house has telephone, fax and Wi-Fi Internet access for connecting your computer.
Only 1 km from a small Basque village, with bar and restaurant.
If you like to get away from it all in peace and tranquillity, enjoy walks through the countryside or like the beach in Zumaia, Zarautz or Donostia ... Come and visit!
In Zumaia we have Itzurun beach and Santiago beach. Itzurun beach, in the center of town, is famous for its fish. Also its waters are beneficial because their high concentration in iodine. The beach has blue flag. Zumaia also has a beautiful marina.
In the vicinity of San Sebastian you must visit the museum Chillida-Leku and, of course, the guipuzcoan capital with his famous Kursaal, the Bay of the Concha and El Peine del Viento.
You can also visit Zarautz with its long beach or the fishing port of Getaria, where we recommend our Talaipe Berri restaurant where you can sample wonderful fresh fish from the Cantabrian Sea.
