The slow pace allows you to re-discover and take pleasure from the simple things in life such as the smells of the countryside, the sound of silence on walks over the mountains and wise exchanges between village elders. There is beauty in all of the seasons: golden brown leaves of autumn, the purity of winter cold, the sudden unexpected warmth of spring and hot summer nights. Puerto Hurraco is a working agricultural village, centred around olives, cereal crops, pig and sheep farming.
