| Can Japet is a town house in the quiet village of Torrelles de Foix approximately 1 hours drive from Barcelona and set among the vineyards of the Alt Penedés.
Recently restored, the house has a delightful mix of traditional and modern features including its own underground Bodega (wine cellar). Two spacious terraces offer sunbathing and the opportunity for dining al fresco and BBQ's.
The 1st floor has two twin bedrooms and a bathroom and the top floor has a spacious double with on suite bath/shower. On the ground floor there is a lounge area and dining area together with a fully equipped kitchen.
The surrounding countryside offers numerous opportunities for rambling or dog walking and is a cycler's paradise with miles of quiet, winding country lanes to negotiate. The village is extremely friendly and has shops, two bars and restaurants and there is a very nice communal swimming pool within walking distance.
The area offers many places of interest including the nearby Monasteries of Santes Creus and Poblet dating back to the 14th century. The many bodegas welcome visits and offer wine tastings. Within half an hours drive is the famous mount of Montserrat and the beaches of Sitges and Vilanova i la Geltru and if you like a bit of action, the Vista Hermosa Club de Golf is less than 15 miles away or the famous Port Aventura theme park is less than an hours drive. |
