| La Morada de Juan de Vargas is a restored 16th century house. It is a guesthouse that can also be taken over in its entirety and also rented as as self catering accommodation. The house is in the historic old part of Villanueva de los Infantes, Don Quijote’s home village and a village in the heart of the La Mancha countryside. Academics have puzzled for years over the identity of the village in the first line of the world’s most famous book “In a village in La Mancha whose name I cannot recall...” Wonderful views over the old town. Tourist information available in English, French and Italian. Close to the regional park Parque Natural de las Lagunas de Ruidera. Only two hours south of Madrid and two hours from Granada, and two hours from Córdoba.
