You can also choose your own birdwatching route depending on what species you are interested in seeing. All our routes have an especialized ornithologist guide and includes all the material needed.

Trips are run on the following lines:
Duration: From a few hours to a few days. Start and finish times according to the requirements of the client, though normally leaving around 7 a.m. and returning approx. 10 hours later for a typical day trip.
Guide: Ricardo Montero
Transport: In the rental vehicle of the client, or otherwise by arrangement (as appropriate). Pick up from hotel, airport or meeting point as arranged.
Food: We find good local food in one of the numerous bars en route. If required, the guide can supply a simple picnic lunch and bottled water. Special requirements need to be discussed in advance.
Cost: The following prices for 2009 are for guiding (fuel & food are extra at cost).
½ -day (± 5 hours): 50 Euros .
1 day (± 10 hours): 70 Euros.
Reduced rates for clients for 3 days guiding or more.
The trips are organised by Ricardo Montero ( 15 years of experience in Extremadura) with all significant data recorded during the trips forwarded to the local recorders and SEO/BirdLife, the national ornithological association.
Photography and sound recording are welcomed.
